John Oliver enlists Colbert's help as Stewart is not his usual self after he returns from the Middle East, sporting beard and speaking an indecipherable Middle Eastern accent.

AceShowbiz - Jon Stewart made an epic return to "The Daily Show" on Tuesday, September 3 after an extended summer break to direct his movie in Middle East. His temporary replacement John Oliver was excited to welcome him back, but soon got worried after learning that Stewart was not the person they knew, sporting a full beard and speaking an indecipherable Middle Eastern accent.
Oliver and correspondent Jessica Williams tried to bring back the old Stewart with Big Macs defibrillator, but the shock that it caused turned him into a redneck. They later tried to administer other antidotes, but Stewart continued to turn into different personas, from Moses to a Nazi, and from a blue-painted Smurf to a foam-finger waving Miley Cyrus.
Following their numerous failed attempts, Oliver called in Stephen Colbert, who appeared in a hazmat suit. After what sounded like a painful effort behind the closed door, Stewart finally found his true self and was ready to host "The Daily Show".
On the studio, Colbert told the camera, "I've missed you so much," and admitted his stay in the Middle East made him realize, "I'm Western." Joined by Oliver during the opening, he caught up on all the big news, from Paula Deen's N-word issue to Anthony Weiner's latest cheating scandal.
When learning the first topic that he would take on that day, Syria, he quipped, "America taking military action against the Middle East regime? It's like I never left." Clearly showing his opposition to bombing Syria, he said, "We have to bomb Syria because we're in 7th Grade, and the red line that they've crossed is actually a d**k-measuring ribbon."
