The fourth installment with Mark Wahlberg as the lead will go by the name of 'Transformers: Age of Extinction'.

AceShowbiz - The upcoming "Transformers" movie, which is the fourth installment in the franchise, has announced its official title through a teaser poster. Earlier this week, reports on possible titles hit the web, claiming that either "Transformers: Last Stand", "Transformers: Apocalypse", "Transformers: Future Cast" or "Transformers: Age of Extinction" might be picked up as the official name.

As it turns out, the artwork, which has a logo of the number "4" with half of a Decepticon insignia, confirms that the latter is the right one. The poster (via Yahoo! Movies) seemingly hints that the movie will feature new leading man Mark Wahlberg and his friends getting engaged in an epic battle taking place in the desert.

Still directed by Michael Bay, the new chapter gets an exciting cast ensemble which also includes Nicola Peltz, Jack Reynor, Stanley Tucci, T.J. Miller and Kelsey Grammer, who has landed role as the film's human villain. Ehren Kruger serves as scribe, with Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Don Murphy among the producers.

Since there is no official synopsis yet, di Bonaventura gives tidbits about the flick, due out June 2014 in the U.S. "You can be sure that the joining of the Dinobots will give the audience new excitement," he said to the Beijing News as cited by Comic Book Movie.

"In addition to Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, the appearance of these classic roles changed, today the world's coolest, most exciting cars will appear in the film, including China's vehicles, whether you are a car enthusiast, you will feast your eyes and be shocked by them."
