The Biebs' new documentary movie will screen before select buyers at the international film festival this September.

AceShowbiz - Following the success of his "Justin Bieber: Never Say Never" documentary film two years ago, Justin Bieber is set to hit the big screen anew with the new movie-docu "Justin Bieber's Believe", named after his top-grossing album and world tour. The movie will be screened at the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival to select buyers when it opens on September 5.
"Believe" is headed by the same director who helmed "Never Say Never", filmmaker Jon M. Chu, best known for directing the movies "Step Up 2 the Streets", "Step Up 3-D", and "G.I. Joe: Retaliation". The film details Bieber's rise to superstardom as told through footage from the controversial young pop star's many performances.
"It's almost about a boy becoming an artist rather than a boy's life. Because his artistry is his [Bieber's] life now," said Chu about "Believe". According to Chu, the movie includes footage of "choreographed, non-documentary sequences as well as revealing behind-the-scenes" material. It is projected to be another top-grossing venture, with the teen heartthrob's Beliebers expected to support the project the same way they flock to his sold-out shows.
Releasing "Believe" domestically will be Open Road Films while handling the international sales will be film distribution company IM Global under their label Opus. It remains to be seen whether it can beat the "Never Say Never" record-setting $98 million worldwide gross but it could definitely give some stiff competition to One Direction's recent "One Direction: This Is Us".
