The 'Glee' star was one of many celebrities who joined the Labor Day Weekend annual benefit concert.

AceShowbiz - Multi-talented artist Matthew Morrison brought his lethal combo of Broadway-polished singing and dancing skills to Sunday night's "MDA Show of Strength", the annual televised benefit concert held each Labor Day Weekend. The 34-year-old actor was just one of many Hollywood stars who lent their talents to the telethon to help raise funds for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

The "Hairspray" stage actor, who came into prominence as the well-meaning music teacher Mr. Will Schuester on the hit TV series "Glee", performed the classic "On the Street Where You Live" from the musical "My Fair Lady" which was right up his alley. Morrisson was in his element in his silver-gray suit, dishing out his song and dance routine backed by the band and even doing some flips with his matching hat.

Making the introduction to Morrison's lively performance was former "American Idol" judge Paula Abdul. Opening the show was the Backstreet Boys, who did a medley of their old hit "I Want It That Way" and their new single "In a World Like This". Ryan Seacrest, Enrique Iglesias, Austin Mahone, Luke Bryan and more entertained the folks both in the live audience and at home.

The MDA Telethon was able to raise more than $30 million after the nationwide telecast. The MDA posted a message of thanks on behalf of all those who will benefit from the funds raised to those who generously donated and to everyone involved "for raising funds to continue the progress in the fight against muscle disease."
