The rapper puts on a private concert party for guests reportedly for the staggering amount of $3 million.

AceShowbiz - G.O.O.D. Music mogul Kanye West easily made $3 million on Saturday, August 31 when he performed at the wedding of Kazakhastan President Nursultan Nazarbayev's grandson. The 36-year-old rap superstar put on a private concert for guests to the party that took place at the Royal Tulip Hotel in the nation's capital of Almaty.

Photos of West onstage and video footage of him performing his hit "Can't Tell Me Nothing" were posted on Twitter and Instagram. The "Black Skinhead" rapper reportedly made millions for one night's work but it wasn't known if West was aware that the handsome sum that he would be receiving for that gig is tainted with politically-related controversy.

President Nazarbayev allegedly plundered billions of dollars in revenues from his country's oil resources, channeling these into offshore bank accounts. He has also been accused of rigging elections and being a dictator and has been suspected of mistreating oil workers, an issue that made English musician and philanthropist Sting back out of a scheduled performance for the president.

A few months ago, another global superstar, Jennifer Lopez, also performed in a private concert that included the Turkmenistan president Kurbanguly Berdymukhamedov, singing "Happy Birthday" to him apparently without any prior knowledge that he had been involved in human rights-related issues. Other divas like Beyonce Knowles and Mariah Carey have also performed for former Libyan dictator Muammar Qaddafi, donating their performance fees after their gig was met with strong criticism.
