Now that the 'Silver Linings Playbook' heartthrob is introduced as the voice of Rocket Raccoon, Vin Diesel is expected to join him soon.

AceShowbiz - Bradley Cooper is officially a "Guardians of the Galaxy" cast member. Marvel Studios proudly announces the inclusion of the "Limitless" actor on its website. The Oscar-nominated star will make his debut in a superhero world and become a first-time voice actor by lending his voice to Rocket Raccoon, which will be rendered through CGI in the pic.

Cooper is the latest addition to the already star-studded cast ensemble. Chris Pratt takes the lead with his role as Star-Lord, with Zoe Saldana and Dave Bautista cast as Gamora and Drax the Destroyer respectively. Vin Diesel, meanwhile, has not finalized a deal yet to voice Groot, but is expected to join soon.

The production on the James Gunn-directed flick has already started. Michael Rooker, painted blue all over for his portrayal of Yondu, was recently spotted filming his part in the countryside of Surrey, England. Gunn also used London's Millennium Bridge to shoot an action scene featuring colorful alien extras and some Nova Corps.

Also supported by Benicio del Toro and John C. Reilly, "Guardians of the Galaxy" will be released August 1, 2014 in the U.S. In an interview, Chris Pratt says an "Avengers" and "Guardians" crossover is still a possibility though Joss Whedon once said it would not happen.
