Movie

McConaughey and Leto undergo extreme transformation for the AIDS drama movie, which will be released on November 1.

AceShowbiz - Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto give their all into their roles in "Dallas Buyers Club", a based-on-true-story movie in which the former stars as an HIV-infected Texas electrician, while the latter is featured as a cross-dressing prostitute. The two actors go to extreme lengths, and the first trailer gives fans proper looks at how both of them change.

McConaughey, looking devastated upon learning that he only has 30 days to live, is very skinny and pale. Meanwhile, Leto, who finally returns to acting after 4 years, channels his feminine side, looking gorgeous and sexy in mini skirt with a long curly wig, smokey-eye makeup and fresh pink lipstick.

In the film, McConaughey's character, Ron Woodruff, battles with the medical establishment and pharmaceutical companies after diagnosed as HIV-positive. It will follow him searching for alternative treatments that help establish a way in which fellow HIV-positive people can join for access to his supplies.

"They're not illegal. They're merely unapproved," Woodruff says of his "supplements." Though the disease is incurable, he does not lose hope. "Man, I got one life," the man says. "I want it to mean something."

Directed by Jean-Marc Vallee, the movie also stars Jennifer Garner as McConaughey's love interest. It will hit theaters in the U.S. on November 1.
