Olivia's daughter Chloe Lattanzi says in an interview with Australia's Woman's Day that 'telling your mum you have a problem with alcohol and cocaine is not easy.'

AceShowbiz - Chloe Lattanzi, the daughter of singer/actress Olivia Newton-John, reveals that she is battling alcohol and cocaine addiction. In an interview with Australia's Woman's Day, Chloe says that she has been living in a sober living facility for seven months and undergoing five hours of therapy a day to cure her addiction. Olivia's fame apparently contributes to Chloe's addiction.

"Growing up I was under immense pressure being the daughter of such a famous woman. You don't have a normal childhood and you don't have that space to make mistakes and find your feet, as everyone is watching you," she says. She started abusing drugs shortly after she moved to L.A.

"I started to get into the party scene, drinking every night, and then before long I got introduced to cocaine and all of a sudden, the combination of those things took away all the fear and depression and that is when the cycle began," she explains. Besides using drugs, she drank so much liquor that sometimes she passed out. "I'm honestly surprised I did not have a heart attack," she says of her addiction.

Chloe enrolled in a rehab facility in 2011, but she was back to her dangerous habit after 30-day treatment. Later when she was drunk, she revealed that she had problems with drugs and alcohol to her mother, who immediately contacted Dr. Drew Pinsky for help.

"Telling your mum you have a problem with alcohol and cocaine is not easy," she says. "I honestly felt that for the first time in my life there was hope," Chloe reveals, adding that her mother is "really proud of me for not having secrets anymore, for being open and honest about what I was going through."
