AceShowbiz - Actress Monica Bellucci and her husband, French actor Vincent Cassel, agree to end their 14 years of marriage. The couple confirmed their split on Monday, August 26.

The Italian-born actress, who played in "The Matrix Reloaded" and "The Passion of The Christ", met the "Black Swan" actor for the first time on the set of French movie "L'appartement" in 1996. The two tied the knot in Monaco in 1999. They have two young daughters, Deva and Leonie.

A month before, "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" actress told Vanity Vair Spain that she and her husband lived independent lives.

"I never get involved in the choice of his papers nor in mine. We are very independent, we live in different worlds: His friends are your friends, mine are different," Bellucci said. The actress was previously married to Italian photographer Claudio Basso for four years before separating in 1994.
