The short clip features the helmet-wearing duo, along with Pharrell and Nile Rodgers, in matching sparkling outfits.

AceShowbiz - After releasing "Get Lucky" back in April, Daft Punk is about to drop "Lose Yourself to Dance", their second collaboration track with hitmaker Pharrell Williams off the electronic music act's fourth studio album "Random Access Memories". The French duo premiered the one-minute sneak peek during their appearance at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards on August 25 at Brooklyn's Barclays Center.

Featuring The Neptunes record producer and guitarist Nile Rodgers, the clip has all four songwriters donning sparkly silver blazers as they play the funky disco track to an intimate crowd. It is in these same outfits that the four men were in when they emerged from a giant, onstage rendering of the Moonman's head when they presented the Best Female Video award to Taylor Swift for "I Knew You Were Trouble".

Daft Punk themselves were nominated in this year's VMAs, getting a nod for Best Song of the Summer for their chart-topper "Get Lucky". However, the trophy in that category went to boyband One Direction for their hit single "Best Song Ever".

Contrary to what comedian Stephen Colbert revealed on his TV show "The Colbert Report", Daft Punk did not perform at the VMAs but only presented an award after previewing their new music video. The duo had bailed out on their scheduled appearance on Colbert's show after claiming they were bound to their VMA performance contract with MTV.
