Drake does singing and rapping, Bruno Mars brings in his 'Gorilla', and duo Mackemore and Ryan Lewis join forces with Mary Lambert and Jennifer Hudson.

AceShowbiz - More footage from the newly-wrapped MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night, August 25 flooded the internet. Drake, Bruno Mars and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis were among the stars performing at the prestigious event to entertain the A-list guests.

Drake did a one-man show, keeping his performance simple yet loud without any backup dancers or elaborated props. The Young Money rapper kicked off his set singing "Hold On, We're Going Home" before returning to his rap roots in "Started from the Bottom".

Bruno Mars gave an electrifying show as he sang "Gorilla" on a laser-beamed stage. He was introduced by Selena Gomez to take the stage for a live performance after previously collecting a Moonman presented by Taylor Swift for Best Male Video ("Locked Out of Heaven").

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis also got loud cheers as they performed same-sex anthem "Same Love". The duo who won Best Hip-Hop Video and Best Video with a Social Message that night celebrated their double victory onstage in a live duet with Mary Lambert and Jennifer Hudson.
