MTV VMAs 2013: Justin Timberlake Brings in NSYNC for Reunion Performance

JT brings the house down at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York with an energetic medley performance that brought the crowd back to the 90s.

got the loudest cheers in the house at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards. Before being handed the Video Vanguard Award, he made a medley performance that chronicled his journey of creating hits after hits from his boyband days to his solo career as the crowd poured in to get closer to the stage.

It kicked off with a taped performance of "Take Back the Night" in a backstage set before JT showed up on the center stage. He was clearly in his element as he began his live performance with "SexyBack" before moving on to the likes of "Like I Love You", "My Love", "Cry Me a River", "Senorita", "Rock Your Body" and "Pusher Love Girl/Gone".

The guests got louder when the rest of 's members rose from beneath the stage signaling the start of the most anticipated moment of the night. The boyband took them a few years back with "Girlfriend" and "Bye Bye Bye", and even re-enacted some of their famous moves. The medley continued with Justin delivering his more recent hits "Suit & Tie" and "Mirrors".

, and danced on their seats during the whole set, and today's popular boyband gave their senior a standing ovation. A bunch of fellow celebrities also raved about the performance on Twitter. "JT just shut it Downnnnnnnnnn WOW! People better take notes," tweeted.

After Justin's lengthy performance, who introduced the medley was back on stage to hand the singer his Vanguard Award. The funnyman said it was quite obvious as why the "" actor deserved the honor, mentioning some of Justin's biggest singles and inserting viral hit "D*ck in the Box" from his "" stint.

"I don't deserve this award," Justin humbly said in his acceptance speech, before jokingly adding, "But I'm not gonna give it back."
