According to a report, the long-rumored presence of the Dinobots in Michael Bay's upcoming movie will indeed happen.

AceShowbiz - After many pictures of cool vehicles that some "Transformers 4" robots will transform themselves into, director Michael Bay finally posts the film's first official image. The shot features him in his Superman pose, members of the crew, stars Mark Wahlberg and Jack Reynor and a mystery pyramid that Bay leaves fans to guess.

The production is currently underway in Chicago. Regarding this, folks at Coming Soon.net have been told that the Dinobots, which have been rumored to make their grand appearances in the upcoming movie opposite Optimus Prime and his fellow Autobots, will indeed take part in it. Future on-set shots or any other kind of evidence will prove whether the report is true or not.

The next film in the "Transformers" film franchise is written by Ehren Kruger. It will take place four years after the events in "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" and is said to be darker than its predecessors.

Five-time Emmy Award-winning actor Kelsey Grammer will villainize the feature. Joining him for supporting roles are Stanley Tucci, Nicola Peltz, Li Bingbing, T.J. Miller and Han Geng.

Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Don Murphy, Tom DeSanto and Ian Bryce are on board to produce "Transformers 4", which is due out June 2014.
