Robert apparently does not understand why some people are obsessed over 'Twilight' franchise, saying, 'Sometimes I ask myself what these masses of people do the whole day.'

AceShowbiz - Robert Pattinson, who portrayed sexy vampire Edward Cullen in "Twilight" movies, shares his thoughts on fans who are obsessed with the franchise in an interview with German edition of Interview magazine. In addition to the said topic, the 27-year-old actor talks about the movie's filming and his nickname.

"What's really weird about 'Twilight' fans is that they're not really teenagers. Most of them are older. 'Twilight' has its own fan culture that existed from day one. And in an intense way that didn't exist before," he explains. "Sometimes I ask myself what these masses of people do the whole day. They sit in front of their computers and comment on anything having even remotely to do with 'Twilight'," he says of the movies' diehard fans.

After working on the movies for a few years, apparently it was not hard for him to part ways with other cast and staff members. "The actual last day of filming had been in Canada, so that [last] night it was freezing cold and horrible. The whole crew just wanted to go. Just like me. I didn't say goodbye to all the guys but just took off," he reveals.

Robert also admits in the interview that he does not like nickname R-Patz which was given to him by "some fat celebrity blogger." The "Cosmopolis" star reveals, "I'd like to strangle the guy who came up with it!" adding that he knows the culprit.
