The 'Tie It Up' singer wants a more intimate ceremony, reasoning that she's overwhelmed by her extravagant wedding plan.

AceShowbiz - Kelly Clarkson feels the pressure of planning her wedding with fiance Brandon Blackstock. With her as a singer who juggles between working in studio and performing on stage and him as a busy manager of one of the top-notch music acts Blake Shelton, she says they couldn't find time anymore to prepare for their nuptials.

The bride-to-be initially planned an "earthy" wedding this fall, but she has now a change of heart. "We are so busy that we finally just came to terms the other night and were like, 'So, we change our minds and we want to elope.' We just got so overwhelmed by it - all the decisions," the "American Idol" graduate explains.

"I have a Christmas record coming out. I'm doing a bunch of stuff with State Farm right now (a project to educate kids about safe driving). We have two kids who just started school. We're going to all these football games and soccer games and volleyball games and [Brandon]'s got one of the biggest artists [Blake] in country music. He's flying everywhere."

When they finally made their decision for a more intimate wedding, the couple "sent out an engagement photo to everyone and said, 'Thank you so much for understanding, but it's just going to be me and Brandon and his two kids and the minister.' "

But they will still celebrate it with their friends. "Our friend is throwing us [a party] because we're about to wrap up construction at our house. He's throwing us a huge stock the bar party, so all of the people who were going to be at our wedding will be there," she dishes on.

Around the same time she was hit with pregnancy rumor which she quickly denied on Twitter. "FYI ....Brandon & I are getting married & no I am not pregnant. We are eloping for one reason only. We both want an intimate ceremony," she said.

Clarkson currently enjoys her blissful life with her fiance and his children. "I have a 12-year-old and a 6-year-old now ... after being single for six years," she told "On Air with Ryan Seacrest. "We all live together and everything. It's so different, but it's perfect. They're awesome, and I actually really dig the mom thing."

Of what type of mom she was, the singer said she's strict but caring. "I'm quick to go, 'I told you not to touch that!' " she claimed. "We all work really well together, but I'm totally my mom. My mom was a hard mom. I'm probably that mom."
