The country star's latest album gives him his second chart-topping album after selling 528,000 copies in its first week.

AceShowbiz - Country star Luke Bryan scores his second No. 1 album on Billboard 200 with his "Crash My Party". According to Nielsen Soundscan, the album landed at the chart's top spot after selling nearly 528,000 in its first week.

That also marks the biggest sales week by a male country musician in almost nine years. The record was previously held by Tim McGraw, whose 2004 album "Live Like You Were Dying" opened with 766,000.

"Crash My Party" follows the success of Bryan's previous release, "Spring Break...Here to Party". The compilation, which arrived back in March, gave the 37-year-old artist his first chart-topping album.

Behind Bryan's new masterpiece, K. Michelle's "Rebellious Soul" opened with 72,000. Last week's runner up, the "Now 47" album, falls to No. 3 after selling additional 52,000. Meanwhile, Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" has gone from No. 3 to No. 4 with 48,000.

The Civil Wars' self-titled album, "The Civil Wars", plunges from last week's No. 1 to this week's No. 5. The duo's latest album managed to sell 39,000 in its second week. At No. 6, Jay-Z's "Magna Carta... Holy Grail" slips from last week's No. 4 with 37.000.

The soundtrack of "Teen Beach Movie" claims the seventh spot with 33,000. Florida Georgia Line's "Here's to the Good Times", and Imagine Dragons' "Night Visions" sit at No. 8 and No. 9 with 31,000 and 27,000, respectively. Five Finger Death Punch's "The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell Volume 1" rounds out the top 10 with 22,000.
