The Tom Hanks-produced movie, directed and written by Peter Landesman, recounts the aftermath of the former Commander-in-Chief's infamous assassination in 1963.

AceShowbiz - The first trailer for "Parkland", the upcoming drama that recounts the events at Dallas' Parkland Hospital on the day John F. Kennedy was assassinated, has stormed the web via Yahoo! Movies. Directed and written by Peter Landesman, the Tom Hanks-produced film is supported by starry cast members whose strong performances are featured in the newly released video.

There are a lot of intense moments captured in the more-than-2-minute trailer. There is Zac Efron as Dr. Charles 'Jim' Carrico who is seen pulling himself together before trying to save JFK's life. Paul Giamatti who plays the accidental witness Abraham Zapruder appears to be quite shocked to see the horrifying moment through his camera.

A brief appearance from Marcia Gay Harden as the head nurse in the trauma room is included in it. Jeremy Strong leaves quite an impression with his portrayal of the killer Lee Harvey Oswald. Billy Bob Thornton's head of Dallas' Secret Service office, meanwhile, is so appalled at the murder of No.1 man in the U.S.

Based on Vincent Bugliosi's book "Four Days In November", the movie also has Gary Goetzman and Bill Paxton as producers. Its release date has been moved back to October 4.
