The 'Here's to Never Growing Up' singer brings iconic Tank Girl to life for her brand new music video.

AceShowbiz - In less than a month after filming in Palmdale, California, pop-rock star Avril Lavigne comes out with the music video for her forthcoming new music video "Rock N Roll". The Max Martin-produced track, co-written by Lavigne's new hubby Chad Kroeger of Nickelback, is the second single off her upcoming fifth studio album set to be released later this year.

The five-minute clip features Lavigne as the animated character Tank Girl, dressed in an army green corset top, heavily-buckled platform boots and an army helmet and wearing strings of bullets around her torso and on her waist. Playing her sidekick is erstwhile teen star Danica McKellar who is best known for her role in "The Wonder Years".

The video is dashed with humor as seen right off the bat when it kicks off with a product placement, followed with Lavigne going on a mission where she trades punches with some unconventional characters such as a lobster and a bearshark. The clip adapted a comic book-type visual complete with "Titanic" star Billy Zane.

"Rock N' Roll" follows Lavigne's hit song "Here's to Never Growing Up" and both tracks are expected to make it to the cut for the singer's forthcoming self-titled album due to arrive on September 24. The "Sk8ter Boi" singer described her new music as "more artistic" than her previous works and that "this time it's not just all songs about relationships and dudes."
