AceShowbiz - Winners of the 2013 Teen Choice Awards were revealed on Sunday, August 11. British boyband One Direction had the most surfboard trophies among other music winners as they won in categories including Choice Music Group and Choice Summer Tour.
Beating Daft Punk's "Get Lucky" and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "Thrift Shop", 1D's "Live While We're Young" was chosen as the best single sung by a group. Meanwhile, their other hit entitled "Little Things" bested Justin Timberlake's "Mirrors" and Pink's "Just Give Me a Reason" in Choice Love Song category.
Selena Gomez was also a big winner at that event. The 21-year-old singer won a trophy in Choice Summer Female Music Star category. Gomez's competition with BFF Taylor Swift ended with her "Come & Get It" being a favorite break-up song. She also bagged Choice Female Hottie award after defeating last year's winner, Miley Cyrus.
In addition to performing her newest single called "Made In the USA", Demi Lovato was on hand to pick up the awards for Choice Female Artist and Choice Single. The judge of "The X Factor (US)" also won Choice TV Personality Female.
