The Kardashian matriarch fires back at the President, who claims the first-time parents' over-the-top lifestyle has affected today's youth.

AceShowbiz - Kris Jenner responds to Barack Obama's remarks about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, both of whom were mentioned by Mr. President as examples of high-profile celebrities whose extravagant lifestyle had changed today's American Dream. During her show "Kris" on Friday, August 9, the Kardashian matriarch defended her daughter and future son-in-law.
"I find it so odd that he's picking on Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. Well, Kanye West, first of all, doesn't go on vacation. Ever," Jenner said. "And Kim Kardashian is the hardest-working young lady in the world. She never sleeps, she never stops, she never slows down and works so hard for what she's got."
Jenner also found the Commander-in-Chief hypocritical for saying that Kim and Kanye lived in 10,000 square-foot home. "I bet the President has some friends with 10,000 square foot houses and that he wouldn't mind going over there ... when [he was] asking them to have a party for [him] while [he was] campaigning for dollars to run for president," she said.
In a recent interview with Kindle Singles editor David Blum, Obama talked about culture shifts which have changed the American Dream people once knew. "There was not that window into the lifestyles of the rich and famous," the President said.
He added, "Kids weren't monitoring every day what Kim Kardashian was wearing, or where Kanye West was going on vacation, and thinking that somehow that was the mark of success."
The White House has not made any response to Kris Jenner's comments yet.
