The 'F**k You' singer revealed how his hip-hop act tried to get Slim Shady on their track but it sadly didn't pan out.

AceShowbiz - During a RapFix Live interview on Wednesday, August 7 with his Goodie Mob group mates, Cee-Lo Green revealed how he, Big Gipp, Khujo and T-Mo had wanted to get Grammy Award-winning hip-hop artist Eminem on their reunion album "Age Against the Machine". Slim Shady would have been the featured artist in the track "White Power", but unfortunately it did not work out.
"It had gotten out to the press and I just thought that it made a bold statement so I thought that Eminem would easily jump at the controversy being that I heard he had been gearing up to do a new record and getting ready to get back out and fight," an optimistic Green thought about the possibility of teaming up with the rapper. Their purported collaboration track was described by Green as "a black perspective on white power."
"I would love to stand beside him on a sentiment, on a stance like that and just as a fan of his, I just wanted to hear him spit crazy on this particular track," Green said. Sadly, the quartet was not able to convince Eminem to appear in the forthcoming album, with the MC choosing not to drop a verse for unspecified reasons.
Despite not getting Slim Shady on board "White Power", the track will still be included in "Age Against the Machine". As for Green's sentiments over the failed attempt to get Eminem, "I was just as a fan, really anticipating what he could do it...I would've really liked to see it happen."
