Movie

Damon and Jodie Foster attend the premiere of their latest film at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, California.

AceShowbiz - "Elysium" had its world premiere on Wednesday, August 7, taking place at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, California. Leading actors Matt Damon and Jodie Foster were on hand for the promo effort of their sci-fi movie which is directed and penned by Neil Blomkamp, and will grace big screens nationwide this Friday.

Both Hollywood stars received a warm reception that very night. Damon hit the red carpet with his lovely wife, Luciana Barroso, by his side. The 42-year-old actor looked handsome in a dark suit while his love stunned in blue dress. Jodie Foster, meanwhile, shone in a green dress. She was later joined by co-star Diego Luna, who suited up for the special event.

Another beauty spotted walking down the carpet was Alice Braga. The on-screen love interest of Damon, who shaved his head bald for the coveted role which was initially meant for rap star Eminem, flaunted her beauty in a blue sleeveless dress, with her hair done in an updo.

In "Elysium", Damon stars as Max De Costa, a fearless man who tries to break into the idyllic place protected by Foster's character, a hard government official named Secretary Rhodes. Sharlto Copley supports the movie by taking on villainous role as Kruger.
