The Rachel Berry depicter tweets her first photo from the show's set since Cory Monteith's death, writing, 'Feels so good to be home.'

AceShowbiz - Lea Michele is back at work on "Glee" set and she's happy to be "home." On Tuesday, August 6, the actress posted on Twitter a photo of her on the show's set, writing in a caption, "Feels so good to be home."

Dressing in a black and red ensemble as her character Rachel Berry, she's featured sitting alone on a trunk in front of her bed with her hair pulled back in a ponytail. Her gaze is wandering while her arms are resting on her laps.

Michele and other "Glee" cast members began filming the fifth season of the FOX musical series on Monday. "Couldn't have picked a more beautiful & perfect song to start the year with..," she tweeted that day.

Co-creator Brad Falchuk seemingly noted Monteith's missed presence in his tweet, posting a photo of the empty choir room. He wrote in a caption of the picture, "Day one season five. Something very big missing but everyone is happy to be together and back to work."

A source described the situation during the first day filming of the season 5. "Today was first day back," the source told E! News. "Last week was rehearsals but today was first official day of production on new season. Everything went as well as it could have. Very emotional but everyone is starting to move forward. Getting back on track."

The production kick-off was delayed until early August in the wake of Cory Monteith's sudden passing. The show's return is also pushed back from its original September 19 date to September 26.

The drama musical series will pay tribute to the late actor, who played Finn Hudson, in the third episode set to air October 10. "The third episode will write Finn out of the show," Fox Entertainment Chairman Kevin Reilly said. "That episode will deal directly with the incidents involved with Cory's passing and the drug abuse in particular."
