The British media mogul says he 'will eventually clear up when the time is right,' as he is named in divorce papers filed byhis friend Andrew Silverman.

AceShowbiz - Simon Cowell finally responded to the news that he's expecting a baby with his friend's estranged wife. "I haven't read the newspapers. Am I missing something?" he teased when being congratulated by a reporter at Television Critics Association Press Tour in Beverly Hills.
"Sorry. Unfortunately, I have to keep this private for the moment. It's just one of those things, but thank you anyway," the British media mogul continued. "There are a lot of things I will eventually clear up when the time is right."
When asked if he could share his feelings, Simon said, "I would love to, but I have to respect a lot of other people's feelings." He additionally stated, "I really have to be sensitive here because there are a lot of people's feelings involved."
Simon is named in divorce documents filed by Andrew Silverman. The real estate mogul reportedly filed for divorce from his wife Lauren in Manhattan Supreme Court two weeks ago before news of his estranged wife expecting a baby with his friend broke.
Andrew blames the judge of "The X Factor" for his imminent split from the New York socialite. He cites her "cruel and inhuman treatment" of him and her "acts of adultery." The couple has a 7-year-old son together, and he is seeking sole custody of the kid.
Both Simon and his alleged baby mama put on brave faces despite the rumor. Lauren was spotted running errands with her mother in Bridgehampton. Sporting what looked a tiny baby bump, she seemed unfazed by the rumor and, at one point, flashed a smile.
Her mother Carol Eisenberg broke silence to defend her daughter against "gold digger" criticisms. "My daughter is a wonderful girl and a wonderful mother," the mother said. "People like to talk. That's all I have to say."
Simon Cowell himself was seen leaving "The X Factor (US)" set in Los Angeles hours after the baby news emerged. His friends from fellow judge Demi Lovato to former flame Carmen Electra all have nothing but good words for the dad-to-be.
His pal David Walliams even cracked jokes about the baby news. "Oh yeah, and @SimonCowell is doing a baby with a lady," he tweeted. "For the record @SimonCowell and I tried to have a baby together for many years. But I just couldn't get pregnant."
Lauren is reportedly "around 10 weeks along." Simon allegedly became her shoulder to cry on after her marriage to Andrew deteriorated. The nature of their relationship reportedly changed six months ago, but he strongly denied it when such rumor emerged last May.
"Any implication or statement that my client is engaged in adultery and has allegedly broken up the marriage of Ms. Silverman is not only false but reckless," his lawyer Martin Singer said back then.
Pictures of the three friends relaxing aboard a yacht during a trip to St. Barts in January have since flooded the web. At one point, Simon and Lauren were seen getting cozy while lounging under the sun as her husband Andrew looked on.
"My top priority is protecting my 7-year-old son while working to resolve all outstanding issues with my wife," Silverman said in a statement released Thursday. "Hopefully people can respect the interest of our child during this process."
