The 'Man of Steel' director reportedly will meet up with the comic book artist 'to go over the plans for the Superman film.'

AceShowbiz - Zack Snyder apparently turns to Frank Miller for advice on his hotly-anticipated Superman-Batman film. A recent report from The Independent reveals that the "Man of Steel" director will sit down with the creator of comic "The Dark Knight Returns", a passage from which was read out on stage when Snyder made a surprise announcement about the crossover pic at San Diego Comic-Con.
"Frank had no idea the announcement in San Diego was going to happen so it did come as a surprise," a source close to Miller, whose works include "Ronin", "300" and "Sin City", said to the site. The source then added, "He's going to be meeting up with Zach in the next few days to go over the plans for the Superman film so things should be clearer after that."
The said passage, delivered by "Man of Steel" actor Harry Lennix, has Batman saying to Superman at the end of their climactic fight, "I want you to remember, Clark, in all the years to come, in all your most private moments. I want you to remember my hand at your throat. I want you to remember the one man who beat you."
It's still unknown what Snyder's approach to the film is as he only revealed that he would not adapt the comic book. In the project, Snyder will reteam with scribe David S. Goyer, who recently said that the movie might use a "versus" in the title.
Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Clark Kent with Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane set to return as well. Meanwhile, the replacement of Christian Bale as the caped crusader remains mystery.
