The 'Never Say Never' singer won't be charged for allegedly hitting a photographer when leaving a comedy club last month.

AceShowbiz - Justin Bieber is off the hook in a paparazzo hit-an-run case. Prosecutors decide not to file charges against the teen singer because there was "insufficient evidence to prove that Bieber knowingly left the scene of a collision in which someone was injured."

Bieber allegedly hit a photographer with his sports car when leaving the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles on June 17. In a video from the scene, he was actually seen motioning the shutterbugs to clear out of the way but they apparently did not step aside fast enough.

A paparazzo was caught on camera falling to the ground after Bieber pulled away. The alleged victim named Damon Walter claimed that he was pinned between the singer's white Ferrari and a parked car nearby. He was treated at a hospital but was soon released with minor injuries.

Prosecutors said Bieber's defense that was unaware of contact with the photographer was "reasonable and credible." "There were over a dozen paparazzi surrounding his car and on the sidewalk, and it was noisy with camera flashes and bright lights surrounding him," it is stated. "Given the scene and the stress of the situation, it is likely that Bieber did not know he had hit Walter."

Additionally, prosecutors agreed with officers at the scene that Walter was "at fault in the collision due to being in the roadway and blocking Bieber's vehicle." Authorities determined that Bieber drove away through a "clear path" when Walter "suddenly stepped in front of" the car.
