TV

Des gets tearful as she admits that she loves Brooks more than Chris and Drew, but Brooks feels that he's not in love with her.

AceShowbiz - "The Bachelorette" is close to its final rose ceremony, but Desiree Hartsock may be a step further from finding her true love. Des got dumped by a guy whom she loved the most among the other remaining suitors during the fantasy suite date.

The episode set in Antigua started with Des and Drew's date. They attended a local festival, participated in a limbo contest and made out with each other. Their romantic dinner on the beach was ruined by rain.

Des and Drew then headed for the fantasy suite and she offered him the card. Drew was "ecstatic" and accepted it, because "I don't want to ever give up time with you." Drew told Des he's ready to propose and she admitted to camera that Drew made her feel like a princess.

Next, Des and Chris hopped a helicopter which took them to Barbuda Island. They had a picnic on the beach. During a dinner, Chris talked about raising a family in Seattle and Des said she's willing to move from California to Seatlle for the sake of love. She gave him the fantasy suite card and he read a poem for her.

Before Des reunited with Brooks, he met Chris Harrison to talk about his complicated feelings. Brooks admitted he wasn't sure if Des was the one for him, shedding some tears as he found it difficult to describe his feelings for her.

Des, on the other hand, said that she had "deeper feelings for Brooks" than for the other guys and would accept if he proposed to her. Her excitement to see him soon turned into tears as he approached with gloomy expression. She started to sob when noticing that something went wrong.

"It takes me a while when I see you again to remember what we have. I feel like I lose it," Brooks explained, asking Des not to cry and telling her that he wanted to be in love with her. "Why now?" Des asked. Brooks said that he needed more time and admitted, "I don't feel like the moments apart are hard enough."

Des told him she loved him even after he dumped her. "You're the only one that I could say that to. It sucks because for once in my life I was hopeful. It just sucks that I loved you. I do love you, regardless," she said.

After walking Brooks out, Des said, "This throws everything off, having Brooks gone. It breaks my heart. I just can't love [Drew and Chris] as much as they love me and that's not what they deserve. Honestly, for me it's over."
