The '30 Rock' actor reveals he has turned down a villain role in one Marvel pic.

AceShowbiz - Alec Baldwin made a big confession on the Howard Stern show last week. The Oscar-nominated actor, who stars opposite Cate Blanchett and Peter Sarsgaard in Woody Allen's "Blue Jasmine", admitted he had passed on a villain role in a Marvel film that he refused to mention though Stern pressed him for details.

Asked why no one offered him a role as a villainous character in a superhero flick, Baldwin answered, "I have, but I won't mention which one." He explained, "I don't want to undo somebody because they hired someone else to do it. But they asked me to play a villain in one of these Marvel Comics movies."

The actor then revealed the reason why he did not take the gig, "I wasn't available, they wanted me to work a certain time. And because of my wife's pregnancy, I had to turn down two films this summer that I wanted to do."

Considering that his wife is supposedly six months pregnant now, media predict that either "The Amazing Spider-Man 2", "Captain America: The Winter Soldier", "X-Men: Days of Future Past" or "Guardians of the Galaxy" might be the possible title in which the 55-year-old actor could have landed a villain role.

"Blue Jasmine", in which Baldwin stars as Blanchett's on-screen husband, is currently playing at theaters. His next starring vehicle is "Caught Stealing".
