The boxer turned Broadway star tells reporters at TCA summer press tour not to get too close to him, saying, 'I will bite you.'

AceShowbiz - Former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world Mike Tyson will be seen again on TV later this year, in the Spike Lee filmed version of his one-man Broadway show "Mike Tyson: Undisputed Truth" on HBO. He may have moved from the boxing ring to a whole new different platform that is the Broadway stage, but the 47-year-old retired pro-boxer says he hasn't gone soft.
"Guys, please, don't get carried away, alright. There's no way I'm Charles Manson but I'm never going to be Mother Teresa, either," Tyson told the TCA panel on Thursday. "Some good advice is, don't be so quick to understand me. Just don't get too close, and be careful, I will bite you, as you may know."
The HBO show features Tyson as he recounts the events that shaped his life into what it is today, which include his years in prison and that fateful day when he bit of a piece of Evander Holyfield's ear inside the ring. Asked if he would change any of it if he could, he replied, "I couldn't change. If I changed it I wouldn't have this life that I have now that's pretty awesome," and surprisingly admitted he did not actually have "many regrets" but said he wished he had been a better father."
Tyson apparently felt right at home on the Broadway stage, saying it felt "similar to going into the ring, with similar energy among the Broadway and fight crowds." He continued saying, "I can't wait to get my hands on the guy like I can't wait to get on stage. Just like in a fight, I wanted to kill everybody in the room, by my performance, of course."
