Lea, executive producer Ryan Murphy, as well as other 'Glee' cast members and crew pay final respect to the actor in a private memorial in Hollywood.

AceShowbiz - "Glee" cast members and crew gathered on Thursday, July 25, to honor memories of co-star Cory Monteith. The private memorial, which reportedly was held on the Paramount studio lot, was also attended by executive producer Ryan Murphy.

"Today, Ryan Murphy and Lea Michele gathered the cast, crew and producers of 'Glee,' along with colleagues from the network and studio, to share memories and music in an emotional celebration of the life of Cory Monteith. We thank the public for their continue outpouring of love and support as we grieve our friend and colleague during this difficult time," Twentieth Century Fox Television said in a statement.

The memorial was attended by 150 people, including Kevin McHale, Darren Criss and Chord Overstreet, who was spotted bringing a guitar. The stars and crew of "Glee" donned black ribbons as they listened to "Good Vibrations" and other songs at the event. Buffet food was prepared for the guests.

An eyewitness told PEOPLE, "They were somber. There were a lot of production staff and crew too and most everyone was dressed in black." The eyewitness added that mourners left the event with puffy, red eyes.

Lea described her boyfriend as "the best person" she ever knew during an interview with Marie Claire Mexico. She admitted that Cory "has made my life so incredible and I am so thankful for him and not only to have him as a partner but also as a coworker."

Cory passed away on July 13 in a Vancouver hotel room. Autopsy revealed that the 31-year-old actor died from toxic combination of heroin and alcohol.
