The 'Whatcha Say' singer says that 'Tattoos', his third studio album, will be released on September 24 via Warner Bros. Records.

AceShowbiz - Jason Derulo has revealed that his forthcoming third studio album, "Tattoos", will arrive on September 24 via Warner Bros. Records. The follow-up to 2011's "Future History" is led by hit "The Other Side", which was released on April 3 and peaked at No. 20 at Billboard Hot 100.

Last week, Derulo stopped by "Chelsea Lately" and "Good Morning America" to discuss and promote his new album. In an interview, he said that his new album was inspired by girlfriend Jordin Sparks. "I always write songs based on my life and the things that I go through. So yeah, naturally, she's a huge part of my life," Derulo explained.

In another interview, Derulo told fans what to expect from his upcoming release, saying, "This album has a lot of different emotions, it's an emotional roller coaster. I take you from I wanna dance mode to that's the sweetest thing I've ever heard to heartbreak, it's just a lot of different emotions."

In addition to announcing his new album, Derulo has released a racy single called "Talk Dirty". "I'm really excited about the single. It has a feature and I've never done that before," Derulo said of the 2 Chainz-assisted track in a press statement. "It's just a shocking song. When you hear it, you'll know what I'm talking about. People will be thinking, 'Hmm, really?!' It's very out there, but it was so fun."

The accompanying music video for the single will arrive in early August.

Before officially releasing his own project, Derulo will appear in his girlfriend's new single entitled "Before It Breaks". On Tuesday, July 23, Sparks announced on Twitter that the single will come on August 1. Produced by Harmony Samuels, the track serves as the lead single off Sparks' upcoming third album.
