'There's much bigger things to worry about in life than trying to ban my family from your neighborhood,' the 'Snooki and JWoww' star tells townspeople who try to prevent her show from filming there.

AceShowbiz - Snooki is not welcome back to Jersey Shore and she's not happy about it. The mother of one has taken to her Instagram page to voice her thoughts after learning that the residents of Pelican Island protest the filming of her show "Snooki & JWoww" in the town.

"Adults are trying to ban my son, fiance and I from enjoying our summer at the shore. Grow up, get over yourself and move on," she writes along with a caption of the NJ.com story about the council meeting gathering to discuss a ban on her.

She continues, "This is not how we should be treating one another. Absolutely sick and very sad. I pray for you. There's much bigger things to worry about in life than trying to ban my family from your neighborhood."

Snooki and JWoww plan to film the third season of their "Jersey Shore" spin-off in the Pelican Island section of Berkeley and in Seaside Heights. The residents say Pelican Island isn't ready with the publicized attention it will get with the reality stars' presence there while the town is still recovering from the effects of Hurricane Sandy.

The Star-Ledger reported that dozens of the town residents attended a council meeting on Monday, July 22, trying to ban Snooki and JWoww from staying there. Many of them reportedly blasted township officials, fearing that the filming would attract gawkers and create traffic problems as residents are trying to rebuild their homes.
