Evans' boyfriend Nathan Griffith shares a picture of her sleeping in her hospital bed after undergoing appendix surgery, writing, 'I feel so horrible and I hate seeing my other half like this.'

AceShowbiz - Jenelle Evans was admitted to a North Carolina hospital on Monday, July 22 following abdominal pain and underwent an emergency surgery to remove her appendix. The "Teen Mom 2" star's boyfriend Nathan Griffith told Radar Online that the 21-year-old TV personality had been experiencing the pain for a while.

"She's been in pain for about a month and I suggested before that it could be her appendix. So I dropped her at the hospital before work. I told her to call me if you go into surgery so I could be there for her," Griffith said. Evans is currently recovering at the hospital. She is expected to be discharged on Tuesday.

Griffith took to Twitter on Monday to share a picture of his ill girlfriend. The picture shows Evans sleeping in her hospital bed. She wears a hospital gown with bandages covering her stomach. Various medical instrument is hooked to her body. She looks severely exhausted in the picture. "I feel so horrible and I hate seeing my other half like this," Griffith captioned the picture.

Griffith shared the same picture via Evans' Twitter account and wrote, "Jenelle wanted me to post this. I feel so hopeless and I wish I could take her pain away... I'm sorry baby!" He also confirmed that Evans "had her appendix taken out."
