In the dark video, the R'n'B singer gets emotional when singing the song that details her jealousy of Beyonce Knowles and an abusive relationship with a former boyfriend.

AceShowbiz - Kelly Rowland has released the music video of her confessional single, "Dirty Laundry". In the four-minute video, Rowland is seen lying down in a pool of water. The video then sees silhouettes of three girls performing as Rowland sings about jealousy of her fellow Destiny's Child member Beyonce Knowles.

In another scene, Rowland is seen having a dinner with her on-screen boyfriend, who eventually spills wine all over her white dress. "Phone call from my sister, 'what's the matter?'/ She said, 'Oh no, baby - you gotta leave!'/ I'm on the kitchen floor, he took the keys/ I was mad at everybody, I mean everybody," she sings about her relationship with her abusive ex-boyfriend.

"Dirty Laundry" is a single off her "Talk a Good Game" album. Rowland admitted that the song is about her jealousy of Knowles and her painful relationship with her former beau. "It was very emotional. It took me days to record," Rowland said of working on the confessional song.

"I had to get past being so upset and actually sing the song, not sob through it. I always hope that my music can inspire someone, the same way other artists inspire me. Dream said, 'I want to write you a record so that people will know exactly who you are, underneath it all,' " she continued.

During her show in Washington D.C. last May, Rowland began crying onstage when she was performing the song. Rowland previously revealed that she played the song to Knowles before releasing it. "I was young, you know? I was so young. That's the most that I can say about that - I was so young and in a relationship and my head was completely gone," she said at that time.

"That's just basically what happened and with my sisters, what matters to me the most right now is what we have. And I love her and Michelle more than anything, and they mean the world to me. I'm so grateful for what we have as sisters, away from Destiny's Child," she added.
