AceShowbiz - Anna Chlumsky is basking in happiness. Not only does the "Veep" actress get nominated for the 65th annual Primetime Emmy Awards but also she has a special delivery, a baby girl. She gave birth to the bundle of joy on July 11 in New York City.

Little Penelope Joan So is her first child with husband Shaun So. "She's a really good mix between my husband and me," the new mom gushes to PEOPLE. "When she's with him, you see him, and when she's with me, you see me. She's a perfect mix."

Chlumsky, 32, is nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series at the prestigious Emmys, thanks to her role as vice president's chief of staff Amy Brookheimer on the HBO comedy. "I'm still in shock," she reacts to the news.

"When I got the call I wasn't sleeping because I was breastfeeding my daughter," she recalls. "It was neat because it was me and my husband and my daughter all in the room getting the news at the same time. When [my manager] told me, it was that nervous, happy, appreciative laughter. I just laughed a lot! It feels really great to have your work noticed."

"Veep" receives four nods overall, Outstanding Comedy Series, Lead Actress for Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Supporting Actor for Tony Hale. "Congrats to @MrTonyHale and @OfficialJLD on the Emmy nods for @VeepHBO! And huzzah to all the cast n' crew for the show's nod! Woohoo!!!" Chlumsky tweeted to her castmates.
