Paul's body is found off the cliffs of East Sussex a week after 'The East Enders' actor was reported missing by his family.

The body of actor Paul Bhattacharjee, who took part in James Bond movie "", was found at Splash Point cliffs in Seaford, East Sussex on July 12. On Wednesday, it was confirmed that the body was the actor's. Police said that Paul's death would not be treated as suspicious.

BBC reported that Paul was last seen leaving a rehearsal at the Royal Court theater in London's Sloane Square on 10 July. The 53-year-old actor was said being in good spirit on that day. However, his family lost contact after he sent a text message to his girlfriend at 9 P.M. He later was reported missing.

Paul's friends and family made pleas for his safe return. His son Rahul Bhattacharjee-Prashar told the Evening Standard that his father's disappearance was "completely out of character." Rahul said, "He was doing well in his career and everything seemed to be going okay."

He was scheduled to perform in a play "Talk Show" this week at the Royal Court. Paul, who was set to appear starting from July 16, was recast.

After the body was discovered, Paul's friends paid tribute to the actor on Twitter. Director Jamie Lloyd wrote, "Very sad to hear about the death of Paul Bhattacharjee. He was a very fine actor. My thoughts are with his family." Muzz Khan, Paul's co-star in Royal Shakespeare Company production "Much Ado About Nothing", said, "Rest In Peace, Paul Bhattacharjee. I can't believe you're gone, mate."

Paul played a doctor in the 2006 Bond movie. His credits included several appearances on TV series "EastEnders". He also took part on other series, such as "Waking the Dead", "Spooks" and "The Bill".
