AceShowbiz - A brother of country singer Randy Travis, David Brownlow Traywick, was arrested after sheriff's deputies found a "working meth lab" in his house in Marshville, North Carolina, on Tuesday, July 16. David, as well as his wife Jessica and two other women, were charged with conspiracy to traffic meth.

David and others were held in Union County Jail. According to Associated Press, bail has been set at $500,000 apiece for David and Jessica. They are expected to show up at Union County District Court on Wednesday. There was no info whether David and Jessica had an attorney.

The Tuesday arrest was not David's first run-in with law. WCNC reported that back in September, he was arrested for cooking meth in a makeshift lab near his home in Marshville.

In other news, Randy Travis' condition is getting better after he underwent a brain surgery following a stroke. The "Forever and Ever, Amen" singer was admitted to hospital with an illness that affected his heart and suffered from a stroke a few days later.

In a statement released on Monday, July 15, his doctors said that Randy was "awake and alert." He was able to breathe spontaneously with the help of ventilator and the doctors hoped he could breathe without assistance soon. Randy's fiancee, Mary Davis, said that the singer "is responding well to voices and he sees and he understands. He's miles beyond where any of us thought he would be a few days ago."
