The 'River Deep - Mountain High' hitmaker will host a Buddhist ceremony with David Bowie, Sade and Oprah Winfrey among the guests.

AceShowbiz - Tina Turner is a married woman once again at 73. The music icon tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend Erwin Bach, 57, at a intimate civil ceremony on the banks of Lake Zurich in Kusnacht, northern Switzerland "a few days ago," municipal official Hannes Friess told AFP.

The newlyweds will celebrate their union in a Buddhist ceremony at their Kusnacht manor this coming Sunday, July 20. Around 150 guests including David Bowie, Eros Ramazzoti, Sade and Oprah Winfrey, according to Swiss weekly Schweiz am Sonntag, are due to attend.

Turner will wear a designer gown by Giorgio Armani, while the guests are kindly asked to wear white. A small stage has reportedly been set up as part of the celebration, and the couple has apologized to their neighbors in advance for the noise they might cause.

German-language Swiss daily Blick reported wedding invitations were sent in April, the same month the "Proud Mary" hitmaker renounced her U.S. citizenship to become a full-pledged citizen of Switzerland.

Turner and Bach, a German-born record producer, have been together for nearly 30 years. They have been living in a lake house Chateau Algonquin in the Zurich suburb since 1995. She retired in 2009 after wrapping up her final tour.

Born Anna Mae Bullock, Turner was previously married to Ike Turner. She rose to stardom as a member of Ike and Tina. After a tumultuous and violent relationship with Ike, she went solo and launched a successful career. Hit singles during her career in music included "River Deep - Mountain High".

She filed for divorce from Ike in 1974, and the marriage officially ended in 1978. Her ex-husband died from a cocaine overdose in 2007.
