A spokesperson for the B.C. coroner services says that Monteith's initial autopsy has been completed and the result is expected to be out on Tuesday.

AceShowbiz - Initial autopsy to determine the cause of the death of "Glee" star Cory Monteith has been carried out in Vancouver. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter on Monday, July 15, B.C. Coroner Services' spokesperson Barb McLintock said, "It was done today, and that included taking samples for toxicology."

McLintock added that the results would be available on Tuesday. If the results are proven inconclusive, additional tests may be carried out at the provincial lab to determine the cause of death. The spokesperson also said that Monteith's family will be the first to know the results. "We don't want them reading stuff in the newspaper or on websites first," she said.

Sources recently told E! News that "numerous amounts of alcohol" and unidentified substances were found in the actor's hotel room on Saturday, July 13. Lea Michele's boyfriend was also reported "partying with his friends" at "at least one club" in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside neighborhood on Friday night.

The source said, "Yes, he had recently been drinking alcohol, but not to the extent there was any alcohol poisoning kind of impact." The source added that according to surveillance video, Monteith went back to his room in Fairmont Pacific Hotel "alone" at "a little after two in the morning." No one entered the room until a housekeeping staff walked in on Saturday morning.

A bottle of wine, courtesy of the hotel, was found in Monteith's room. In regards to the reported unidentified substance, authorities reportedly will not assume that there is connection between the substances and the actor's death. The authorities are said to have contacted Monteith's family "to determine if there were any contributing factors, such as a heart condition."

Vancouver police have ruled out foul play as the cause of the actor's sudden death. "When all the facts are made public, it will become obvious why police were able to conclude their part of the investigation in the first 24 hours," a source said.
