The two rap superstars argued for 4 days over 'Holy Grail' and 'Ocean' but Jay-Z eventually prevailed.

In a new four-part interview with BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe that will air this week, Roc Nation mogul reveals that while he was working with good pal on their "", West wanted two of his tracks for their collaboration album. The two new songs "Holy Grail" and "Oceans" eventually ended up on Hov's new album "".

"Soon as I thought we had wrapped up Watch The Throne, I made two records," Jay-Z recounts, saying he and West had already planned on doing solo albums after completing their Grammy Award-winning project. After being offered a first listen of the tracks, the "" artist apparently became interested in Hov's songs and insisted that these be included in "Watch the Throne" as well.

The two then spent the next four days literally arguing over the tracks, with Jay-Z maintaining his stand that the songs were more suited for his planned solo album. "I was explaining to him why it wasn't right for this project and I had a whole idea for making this album called Magna Carta Holy Grail [part of] the name came after."

Jay-Z ultimately prevailed, and the two disputed tracks finally got featured on his latest platinum-selling album. Fortunately, the arguing did not escalate to anything else and the friendship between the two rap minds were left intact.
