The Dave Matthews Band frontman was rescued by two fans when he got flat bike tire on his way to his concert over the weekend.

AceShowbiz - Dave Matthews Band's concert at Hershey, Pennsylvania on Saturday afternoon, July 13 went ahead as scheduled, thanks to DMB fan Emily Kraus and her boyfriend Joe. The couple was en route to the gig when they spotted a stranded cyclist with a flat tire on the side of the road. They decided to offer him a ride and realized it was the Dave Matthews himself.

"So, we saw him on the other side of the road and we pulled my car in here," she tells local news station CBS 21. "And he picks up his bike and throws it up [on the bike rack]. He says I've never seen a bike rack like this before, so [my boyfriend, Joe] walks over and he's helping him put it on and I'm standing here and I'm holding his helmet."

Being in the same car with her idol apparently was a little overwhelming for her. "So we didn't know how to make conversation with him in fact, so we were talking about his tour and where he had come from. He had just been in Cincinnati and he said I'm taking a short break after this one because I have to drop my daughters off at camp and he was just a very humble guy," she said.

She took a picture of herself beaming at the camera with a smiling Dave in the backseat. "His back tire popped, lucky for my parents just recently gave me their bike rack! SO amazing, incredible opportunity!" Kraus wrote on Facebook. "He's such a humbled man, so grateful for our help (my boyfriend is the one who 'spotted' him)!"

As a thank you for helping him out, Dave invited the couple for a dinner, gave them backstage passes, sent them to the front row for the concert, and signed their tickets with "thanks for the ride" note.

"I was ridin' my bicycle... and then I got a flat tire on the bicycle," he said at the gig. "And I didn't have a cell phone on the bicycle, so I thought... 'sh*t.' Then a nice lady named Emily rolled up in a red car with a bicycle... rack on it and gave me a ride home to the gig... thank you!"

"AMAZING show - even more amazing to be that 'nice lady named Emily' who picked him up on the side [of the] road. Right place at the right time - glad I still had the bike rack on the back. Thanks for an awesome show, DMB, and thanks for letting us help you out, Dave! Dinner was delicious," she said on the social media after the show.

She added, "I woke up this morning, and I rolled over and I said, Okay yeah, that really happened yesterday ha ha ha ha! It was surreal we couldn't believe it...My cheeks still hurt from smiling, giggling and laughing all night long. ... This will always be remembered."
