While Legendary prepares 'something very exciting' for 'Godzilla', Marvel reveals designs of free posters for its hotly-anticipated superhero movies.

AceShowbiz - Two studios have recently given updates on what they will bring to this year's San Diego Comic-Con. First up, "Godzilla" director Gareth Edwards teases Legendary Pictures' plans for its July 20 presentation. Trying not to spill the beans, he merely says that there will be "something very big" and "very exciting," and asks fans to check out the film's viral website for further information.

In another news, Marvel unveils a first look at posters that it will give to Comic-Con attendees for free on Saturday, July 20. The first one is for "Thor: The Dark World" and features star Chris Hemsworth gracefully flying up wielding his hammer. As for the next poster, it belongs to "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" and sees the Cap facing off against the titular villain.

"Godzilla", a starring vehicle for Aaron Johnson, will be released in the U.S. on May 16, 2014. The plot has so far been kept a secret. Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche and Ken Watanabe also star in the upcoming sci-fi movie.

Meanwhile, "Thor 2" will find Thor fighting against a militant ancient race called the Dark Elves, which is led by Malekith the Accursed. Due out November 8, it is also supported by Natalie Portman and Idris Elba.

As for "Captain America 2" to be released in April 2014, it centers on Steve Rogers' struggle to embrace his role in the modern world while teaming up with Black Widow to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C. Scarlett Johansson returns to reprise her respective role.
