The 'Smallville' alum will play Victoria's long-lost son, Patrick, in the third season of the ABC soapy drama.

AceShowbiz - "Revenge" has found Victoria's long-lost son in Justin Hartley. The 36-year-old hunk has been tapped to take on a pivotal role of Patrick, who appeared at the Graysons' doorstep in the second season finale, but his face was never seen.

Victoria gave birth to Patrick when she was 16 but gave him up for adoption when he was 6 months old to attend an art school in Paris. Later when Patrick began looking for her, the Grayson matriarch paid him $5 million to disappear.

The Oliver Queen of The CW's "Smallville" is billed for a multi-episode arc and will make his debut on the ABC show's season 3 premiere this fall. The exact premiere date has not been announced by the Alphabet, but it has been announced that Sunil Nayar will replace creator Mike Kelley as the showrunner.

Hartley's arrival will surely fill the void in the cast emsemble after Connor Paolo's Declan Porter was killed off at the end of season 2. It has also been confirmed that Ashley Madekwe won't return as Ashley Davenport due to "storyline reasons."

Besides "Smallville", Hartley is known for his role as Nicholas Foxworth Crane on "Passions". He has also guest starred on "Chuck", "Castle" and "Hart of Dixie", and landed a main role on The CW's short-lived drama "Emily Owens, M.D.".
