Junior Bradshaw was found guilty three months ago but his sentencing was delayed by psychiatric tests.

AceShowbiz - British soul and jazz singer Joss Stone can now breathe a sigh of relief knowing that both her murder plotters will now be locked away in jail. Junior Bradshaw, along with accomplice Kevin Liverpool, was found guilty of plotting to kill and rob Stone at her Devon home in England three months ago but was sentenced to 18 years in prison only now pending some psychiatric reports.

Although Bradshaw suffered from schizophrenia and mental impairment, the Exeter Crown Court presiding judge found that that Bradshaw's low IQ of 65 did not impair his understanding as to the heinous crime he and Liverpool were plotting against Stone. However, he got a shorter sentence compared to Liverpool's life sentence based on evidence showing that he was just a foot soldier for Liverpool, who was the driving force behind the murder and robbery plot.

Although they denied the accusations, Bradshaw and Liverpool were found by police near Stone's home with a body bag and several weapons that included two samurai swords in their possession. The pair had apparently traveled all the way from Manchester to kill Stone, who was at her home at that time, but fortunately, with the help of the locals, the crime had been averted.

Back during Liverpool's sentencing, Stone expressed her thanks and relief through her mother Wendy who said, "Joss would like to thank everyone for their support and all their good wishes" and that "the whole family is relieved the trial is over and these men are no longer in a position to cause harm to anyone."
