In the commercial video, the former 'Saturday Night Live' star plays Ricky Chism, a salesman who helps promote the band's chart-topping album that has been re-released on USB Flash Drive.

AceShowbiz - Queens of the Stone Age has re-released their latest album, "...Like Clockwork", on eight-gigabyte USB flash drive. The Southern California band then hired comedian Fred Armisen to star in a silly commercial video to help promote the album.

In the nearly-five-minute video, Armisen is seen wearing a wig when playing Ricki Chism, a salesman who works for Do Stuff Corporation. He tries to sell the $29.99 flash drive, which comes with the album, high-resolution photos, original artwork, music videos, and lyric sheets.

"This isn't some gimmick from a record label or a suit somewhere, this is coming directly from the band," he says to the camera before giving glimpses at the band, who sits and watches the filming process.

"If you don't like the album, it's still an 8-gig flash drive and a handy bottle opener," Armisen tries to convince viewers. As a limited-time-only offer, fans who order the drive now will get a second drive free with extra shipping and handling.

"Be the first kid on the block to share it with every kid on the block. So why wait?" he continues before providing more details about how fans can order.

Hitting the stores last June, "...Like Clockwork" is Queens of the Stone Age's first album to top the Billboard 200. The band is currently gearing up to hit the road for several tour dates to promote the album.
