AceShowbiz - To build fans' anticipation for his next movie, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has uploaded another Twitter photo which this time gives a better look at his costume as well as a place used in one of "Hercules: The Thracian Wars" scenes. "Our HERCULES set created by award winning designer Jean-Vincent Puzos w/ great detail. I sit in awe," he captioned.
Johnson previously unleashed a pic of him wearing a long hair and having tattoos on his left shoulder partially covered for his role as the titular character in the Brett Ratner-directed movie. "3 hr daily process w/ multi-time Academy Award nominated hair & make up artists. Love the transformation," the Luke Hobbs of "Fast Five" wrote.
The film is described as "a revisionist take on the classic myth set in a grounded world where the supernatural does not exist." The Greek demigod will be featured as a mercenary who later must become a hero he once was when called upon by the benevolent ruler of Thrace to defeat a savage and terrifying warlord.
Johnson's character will be featured facing off against a golden-locked barbarian and revolutionary named Rhesus. For the villainous role, Tobias Santelmann, who played Knut Haugland in 2012's "Kon-Tiki", is already secured.
"Hercules" will arrive in U.S. theaters on July 25, 2014.
