San Diego Comic-Con 2013: Selected Movie Panels for Thursday

Harrison Ford's 'Ender's Game', Shailene Woodley's 'Divergent' and Christoph Waltz's 'The Zero Theorem' are set to be featured in the Hall H panel.

The official schedule for movie panels at the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday, July 18 has been unveiled. The much-talked-about thriller from director Sebastian Cordero, "", will be the opening panel in Hall H at 1:10 P.M - 2:20 P.M. Cordero and actress Karolina Wydra are confirmed to be in attendance.

Later that day, Hall H will host panels for two highly-anticipated feature adaptations from Summit Entertainment. "" will exclusively debut "all-new" footage during the panel with , , and set to show up as the panelists alongside producer Roberto Orci and director Gavin Hood.

Additionally, Summit will take "" to the annual convention. Not only does the Neil Burger movie bring "the first footage ever seen," but it also secures , , , , , , Ben Lamb, Ben Lloyd-Hughes and Christian Madsen to be on hand for the Q&A session.

Special for movie fans, Voltage Pictures will present an exclusive first look at Terry Gilliam-directed "", which introduces as an eccentric and reclusive computer genius who works on a mysterious project aimed at discovering the purpose of existence. Producers Zey Foreman and Dean Zanuck will show up for promoting the film.

In addition to the Hall H panels, Comic-Con will hold a "Masters of the Web" gathering at Room 24ABC, with "" director and writer Adam Wingard and Simon Barrett set to moderate it. There will be the Dreamworks Animation panel as well as the premiere screening of Rob Benedict's "The Sidekick".

The 2013 San Diego Comic-Con will run from July 18 to 21. Complete schedule for the first day of the convention could be obtained on Comic-Con official site.

11:30 A.M. - 12:30 P.M.: Masters of the Web - Some of the most prominent and influential film pundits on the web discuss the film industry, writing for film online, film fandom, and a whole lot more with a special focus on the world of horror this year. Moderated by "" director and writer Adam Wingard and Simon Barrett. Room 24ABC.

11:45 A.M. -12:45 P.M.: Dreamworks Animation Filmmaker Focus - Join chief creative officer Bill Damaschke and directors David Soren (""), Rob Minkoff ("") and Dean DeBlois ("") as they discuss putting a great story through the animation process and onto the screen. Room 6A.

1:10 P.M. - 2:20 P.M.: "" - Fans will be treated to a cast and filmmaker Q&A session providing details on the space-set movie. Hall H.

3:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M.: "The Sidekick" - The panel will feature a 30-minute premiere screening and panel Q&A with director Michael J. Weithorn, writer/actor Rob Benedict and cast members. Indigo Ballroom, Hilton San Diego Bayfront.

3:50 P.M. - 4:50 P.M.: "" and "" - Summit Entertainment presents a special sneak peek at Gavin Hood's film and the first footage ever seen of Neil Burger's with cast members of both movies set to be in attendance. Hall H.

5:10 P.M. - 5:40 P.M.: "" - Voltage Pictures unveils an exclusive preview of the starrer. Hall H.

6:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M.: "" - Creator Eric Powell will debut an exclusive glimpse of the Kickstarter-funded movie. Room 9.
