'Big Brother' Reveals MVP's Power in Season 15 Premiere

The fans-voted MVP will have the rights to nominate a third contestant for eviction, host Julie Chen announces.

AceShowbiz - "Big Brother 15" welcomed 16 houseguests to the new house in the season premiere on Wednesday, June 26. After a short introduction of the contestants, host Julie Chen gathered them to announce one of the twists: instead of two houseguests, three contestants will be nominated for elimination each week.

The houseguests then played Popsicle Factory to determined the HoH. In the game, they had to hang onto a "popsicle" while things like cold water and paint sprayed them as they rotated. After almost three hours, Nick and McCrae made a deal which would ensure Nick's immunity as he let McCrae be the first HoH. McCrae agreed, saying, "I like you. I think you and me can work well together."

Chen then gathered the houseguests once again to reveal the second twist: each week, America will vote for a "Big Brother" MVP, who is the houseguest playing the best game. HoH will still have the power to nominate two people for eviction, while the chosen MVP can make the week's third nomination.

Also in the season 15 premiere, Jeremy got a "Never Not" pass after giving up the HoH title during the Popsicle game. The pass will ensure him to never get the Have-Not punishment.
