'Hunger Games: Catching Fire' Confirmed to Debut New Trailer at Comic-Con

Aaron Eckhart's 'I, Frankenstein' is also included in Lionsgate's panel line-up at the convention, which runs from July 18-21.

AceShowbiz - It's official, "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" will come to this year's San Diego Comic-Con. From Lionsgate's press release issued on June 26, the panel for "The Hunger Games" sequel will be held on Saturday, July 20 with exclusive new trailer from the Katniss Everdeen film set to be debuted during the event.

The studio will bring "I, Frankenstein" as well. The panel for Aaron Eckhart's action movie will take place on the same day as "Catching Fire" with "never-before-seen footage" from the feature adaptation of Kevin Grevioux's graphic novel ready to be unveiled at the convention.

Lionsgate promises that talent from both movies will attend Comic-Con. Though it doesn't specifically mention the names, appearances from "Catching Fire" stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth, and "I, Frankenstein" stars Eckhart, Yvonne Strahovski and Bill Nighy will surely be anticipated by fans.

"Catching Fire" is scheduled to open in theaters nationwide on November 22. So far, fans have been treated with its first trailer and most recently poster featuring Katniss standing tall on a cliff.

As for "I, Frankenstein", the pic has only released a motion poster featuring Eckhart as a deadly man. It is due out on January 24, 2014.

The 2013 San Diego Comic-Con will run from July 18-21.
