AceShowbiz - Twentieth Century Fox has recently dropped first international teaser trailer for Ridley Scott's upcoming movie "The Counselor" online. Though the short snippet does not reveal much about the plot of the thriller from scribe Cormac McCarthy, it previews big appearances from such top Hollywood stars as Brad Pitt, Michael Fassbender and Javier Bardem.
"If your definition of a friend is someone who will die for you, you don't have any friends," so Pitt kicks off the video, presumably talking to leading man Fassbender. Featured with a slicked back ponytail, Pitt continues, "You may think there are things that these people are simply incapable of. There are not."
The trailer goes even much hotter with glimpses of lovely Penelope Cruz, who is later seen asking Fassbender, "Have you been bad?", with a soft low sexy voice, and mysterious Cameron Diaz, who is briefly previewed crawling on the hood of a car in a cheetah dress.
"The Counselor" introduces "Prometheus" star Fassbender as a respected lawyer who thinks he can dip a toe in to the drug business without getting sucked down. It is a bad decision and he tries his best to survive it and get out of a desperate situation.
Natalie Dormer and John Leguizamo join the cast for supporting roles. Produced by Nick Wechsler and Paula Mae Schwartz, "The Counselor" will open in theaters nationwide on October 25.
